यो गजल तिम्रै थियो, यो कलम पनि तिम्रै

यो जिन्दगी तिम्रै थियो, यो साँस पनि तिम्रै।

तिमि बाहेक को नै थियो, सबै सौगातहरु तिम्रै

हरेक दिन हरेक रातहरु, हरेक प्रभातहरु तिम्रै।

मेरा खुशीहरु तिम्रै थिए, मेरा इच्छाहरु तिम्रै

मेरो जीवनको सार अनि सारा सदिक्षाहरु तिम्रै।

तिम्रै थियो आकाश मेरो, मेरो धर्ती पनि तिम्रै

मेरो आवेशका गन्थनहरु, मेरो अर्ती पनि तिम्रै।

मलाई डोर्याउने हातहरु, रमाइला साथहरु तिम्रै

ती आवाजहरु सान्त्वनाका मेरा सम्मानहरु तिम्रै।

मेरो जीवनभरीको प्रित अनि मेरा गीतहरु तिम्रै

ती मीठा अतितका सम्झना, मेरा वन्दनाहरु तिम्रै।

तिम्रै थियो त्यो बाटो अनि मेरा चालहरु तिम्रै

म सुस्ताउने ठाउँको   त्यो पर्खाल पनि तिम्रै।

मेरो यात्राको प्रारम्भ अनि अन्त्य पनि तिम्रै

सकिएन कहिल्यै पुग्न त्यो गन्तव्य पनि तिम्रै।।

Aafule aafeilai dhulosari banayis kina

shaishav kaal ko mayalai taile birsidiyis kina

duniya ko ramjham ma aafeilai harayis kina

farkinu nei thiyo bhane baato taile badlis kina

pashchatap ko aago ma taile aba jalnei parchha

oosanga layeko maya taile aba bhulnei parchha

aafno jeevan aafeile yesari kharani banayis kina

thaha thiyo farkera aaunnan feri baato kuris kina

bhayo aba pugyo bhanchhas hijoka kura sukyo bhanchhas

aafno mutu aafeile reti usle tukra paaryo bhanchhas

kasto rahechha daiva ko khela taile feri bhanis kina

usko maya sarhei mahango  aafelai bechis kina

आफुले आफैंलाई धुलोसरि बनाइस् किन

शैशवकाल को मायालाई तैले बिर्सिदिइस् किन

दुनियाको रमझममा आफैलाई हराइस् किन

फर्किनु नै थियो भने बाटो तैले बदलिस् किन

पश्चाताप को आगोमा तैले अब जल्नै पर्छ

ऊसँग लाएको माया तैले अब भुल्नै पर्छ

आफ्नो जीवन आफैले यसरी खरानी बनाइस् किन

थाहा थियो फर्केर आउन्नन् फेरि
